About halfway between Asheville and Greenville/Spartanburg, SC is Hendersonville, NC. Located in Henderson County (population 108,300), Hendersonville is on the Interstate 26 corridor which begins in Charleston SC and travels northwest through Asheville and on to Tennessee.

Hendersonville has a long history in agriculture with its apple orchards and greenhouses a large part of its economy.
